Vintage Realty Company is pleased to announce the successful sale of The Standard 509, a landmark mixed-use property located at 509 Market Street in Downtown Shreveport.
The transaction represents the culmination of VRC’s long-standing involvement with the property. Vintage Realty Company provided services across multiple areas throughout its ownership, including property management, multifamily operations, commercial leasing, marketing, investment analysis and, ultimately, the disposition of the property.
As the property was brought to market for sale, Vintage Realty developed and executed a comprehensive investment sales campaign showcasing The Standard’s 72 luxury apartment residences, historic character, attached parking garage and more than 15,000 square feet of commercial space. The VRC team also managed buyer inquiries, coordinated property tours and conducted a Call for Offers as part of the marketing and sale process.
Originally constructed in 1910 as the Commercial National Bank building, the historic 10-story property underwent an extensive renovation completed in 2018, transforming much of the building into luxury apartments while preserving many of its distinctive architectural elements.
The successful sale marks another chapter for this prominent Downtown Shreveport property. Vintage Realty Company is proud of the many team members who contributed their expertise to The Standard over the years and helped guide the asset from ongoing management and leasing through marketing and a successful closing.
