Claire Childs Earns Prestigious CCIM Designation, Elevating Commercial Real Estate Expertise in Shreveport

This designation recognizes professionals who have demonstrated deep knowledge, hands-on experience, and success in investment analysis and commercial property transactions.
Claire joined Vintage in March of 2016 and brings nearly a decade of experience in Brokerage, Commercial Investment, Tenant Representation, Leasing, Market Analysis, Site Selection, and Valuation. Her CCIM credential further strengthens Vintage Realty’s capabilities across the Shreveport market and positions her as a top-tier resource for clients seeking strategic investment and leasing opportunities.
A native of Shreveport and graduate of C. E. Byrd High School, Claire’s path to real estate is as unique as it is impressive. She studied ballet intensively across the country and later created the popular Barre 360 fitness program in Austin. After earning a degree in Physical Anthropology from Tulane University, Claire worked as a designer and sales manager for Staxx Ring, contributing to its national success.
Claire’s creative background includes custom furniture design and fabrication through W. Alexander Design. She has also remained deeply engaged in the Shreveport community through leadership programs and board service with organizations like Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana, the Red River Revel, and the Women’s Philanthropy Network.
In 2022, Claire was named Top Forty Under 40 Young Professional of the Year by the Young Professionals Initiative of Northwest Louisiana.
Claire is passionate about commercial real estate in Shreveport and is committed to helping clients find optimal solutions for their investment and leasing needs. She lives in Shreveport with her two sons, Henry and Lear, and enjoys running and woodworking in her free time.
