Construction of Bicentennial Village
Centenary College of Louisiana Student Housing
Shreveport, LA – Centenary College has selected VAS Construction and Vintage Realty to lead the development of its highly anticipated new student housing project. The partnership was officially announced in February, marking a significant milestone for the college’s commitment to enhancing student life on campus.
The new residential development, named Bicentennial Village, will be a college-owned, off-campus housing complex located behind the Centenary Square building on Kings Highway. The project will provide housing for a total of 84 students across four three-story buildings surrounding a shared plaza. Each floor is designed as a self-contained six-bedroom house featuring five single bedrooms, one double bedroom, three bathrooms, a private patio or balcony, and a spacious shared living space. Additionally, each floor will include its own washer and dryer, full-sized kitchen appliances, and a small additional refrigerator in each bedroom. The first floor of each building will be fully accessible to students who use wheelchairs or have mobility differences.
With a focus on comfort, functionality, and community, the project aligns with Centenary College’s vision for a dynamic and engaging campus experience.
“VAS Construction and Vintage Realty are thrilled to partner with Centenary on this transformative project,” said David Alexander with Vintage Realty. “Justin Sevier and VAS Construction’s expertise in construction and property development will bring Centenary’s vision to life to create a living environment that enhances student success and fosters a strong sense of community.”
