Provenance Community Wins National BALA Design Award
Shreveport’s only Traditional Neighborhood Development, Provenance Community, won a GOLD award in the 2019 Best in American Living™ Awards (BALA) by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Awards were announced during the NAHB International Builders’ Show on January 22, 2020. David Alexander, Founder and Managing Partner of Vintage Realty is co-developer of Provenance Community. Provenance is situated on 377 acres in south Shreveport and includes a wide choice of homes/home sites, retail locations and several commercial zones. Alexander also developed Windrush Village which is the first retail center in Provenance and helped found Vintage Homes and Provenance Realty Group.
Now in its 36th year, BALA recognizes outstanding achievement by builders and design professionals in all sectors of the residential housing industry including single-family production, custom, multifamily, affordable, remodeling, community and interiors. BALA is built on the principle that all great homes start with great design, no matter cost or size.
Buying a home is often the most significant purchase people will make in their lifetime, and BALA winners spotlight what building industry professionals need to know to set their project apart and hit the right mark with today’s highly educated and discerning home buyers.
