Provenance Development Company is pleased to announce that it held the official ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate its newest premier development, The Grove at Garrett Farm at 2017 Garrett Farms Row, Shreveport, LA 71106.

The event was well received and many guests came out to show support for the development, some of the attendees included, the Shreveport Chamber diplomats, John Barr of Senator Kennedy’s office, Stephanie McKenzie of Senator Cassidy’s office, Matt Jenkins of Jenkins Construction, Jeff Hudson of Hudco Construction as well as Justin Sevier of Vintage Homes, and all builders in The Grove at Garrett Farm. Special thanks to Heidi Trant for giving the opening remarks and Dr. Timothy Magner, president of the chamber for expressing how our development is a great opportunity to expand housing options in Shreveport.
Guests had the opportunity to hear presentations from Justin Sevier of Vintage Homes and Sara Hill, Realtor, lead sales and marketing for Provenance and The Grove at Garrett Farm.
During his speech, Justin explained how careful consideration was given to preserve the historical character-defining elements to the guests, such as the reclaimed brick taken from an old dairy barn and used for the walls at the entryway. The property used to be an old dairy farm owned by the Garrett family and that is where the name for the development comes from. “The overall inspiration for the entry and guard house is from the Cotswold mountains in southern England. The Grove is crafted to look and feel like a historical development but modeled to fit a modern lifestyle with the amenities to follow suit,” Justin Sevier.

The Grove at Garrett Farm and Provenance Realty Group also hosted a public celebration including live music, food trucks, and obstacle course activities for kids.
The Grand Opening was held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 11 am to 2 pm / Sunday, November 3, 2019 from 1 pm to 4 pm. Vintage Construction Group, now known as Vintage Homes, presented its new model home. There were also homes under construction by a variety of the builders in The Grove at Garrett Farm. The builders for the community are: Cole Builders, Extra Touch Builders, Hudco Construction, Jenkins Construction, MJ Construction, and Vintage Homes. Guests received an up-close look at this beautiful property and staff were on hand to give tours through the newly constructed model home.
