Harlan Chumley is Vice President of Development and Acquisitions at Vintage Realty, where he leads development and acquisition efforts across an array of product types, including multifamily, build-to-rent, and others. In this role, Harlan oversees the full spectrum of development activities, including underwriting, market analysis, financial modeling, investor relations, and pipeline growth. He plays a pivotal role in driving Vintage’s growth by identifying projects that meet investor expectations and advancing them from concept to completion.
Prior to joining Vintage, Harlan served as Director of Development and Acquisitions at W.B. Capital Partners and as Development Manager at Zocalo Community Development. His work has spanned a diverse mix of real estate product types, including affordable housing, hospitality, multifamily, and build-to-rent, giving him a comprehensive perspective on the development process and project delivery. His progressive experience includes site acquisition leadership, complex deal structuring, and comprehensive project management.
After gaining valuable experience in Denver, Colorado, Harlan and his wife chose to relocate to Shreveport to be closer to family and provide additional support for their growing household. This move also presents an exciting opportunity for Harlan to leverage his development experience in new markets and contribute to Vintage’s ongoing success.
Harlan holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Real Estate from the University of Denver, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Lynchburg. Outside of work, Harlan enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling, and being in the great outdoors.
