A.T. Emery is a Shreveport native, where he lives with his wife and three children, and remains deeply invested in the growth and success of his community.

A graduate of C.E. Byrd High School, A.T. earned his degree from Louisiana Tech University with a major in Supply Chain Management and a minor in Finance. While at Louisiana Tech, he served as Secretary of Kappa Alpha Order, where he developed the leadership, discipline, and organizational skills that continue to shape his professional career.

In addition to his role in commercial real estate, A.T.’s full-time career is in commercial insurance with a locally owned brokerage where he advises business owners on risk management strategies to support their long-term growth. He obtained his real estate license to better serve his clients through a more tailored partner approach—aligning real estate strategy with risk management to deliver comprehensive, forward-thinking solutions. This dual perspective allows him to provide clients with a deeper level of analysis and strategic guidance throughout every transaction.

A.T. is highly engaged in the Shreveport community. He has served as Chairman of Shreveport Ducks Unlimited for the past 11 years and is a member of the C.E. Byrd Alumni Board, Downtown Shreveport Rotary, and a board member of the Trowbridge Foundation – a Shreveport-Based non-profit that focuses on providing financial assistance to non-profit organizations within the community.
